Heartsaver Adult, Child, Infant CPR

The American Heart Association is the recognized authority in resuscitation science and training.  The American Heart Association and OSHA have formed an alliance to help raise awareness about heart disease and stroke. 

The Heartsaver CPR Course is a comprehensive course for the person who requires a credential (card) documenting successful CPR course completion. 

Course Description: The Heartsaver Adult/Child/Infant CPR Course teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies including CPR and relief of choking with a blocked airway.  Also included is training in rescue breathing with a CPR mask.

Intended Audience: All lay rescuers, such as employees in the workplace; child care employees; baby-sitters; parents; grand-parents; family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death; other lay rescuers; and those who may have a duty to respond to an emergency.

Course Length: 3 hours

Student Materials: "Heartsaver CPR Student Workbook" $10.00.

Card Type: American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR course completion card valid for 2-years.  The card will indicate the modules you completed.

Skills Evaluation: Required for completion card.
